THE JOB - Operations Assistant at Tabernacle

Responsible for performing highly diversified duties and processes to support the achievement of the venue's business goals and objectives.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Works directly with the venue leadership or Operations Manager to perform day of show duties

  • Assists in the setup and tear down of 100% of the venue's assets for all events - Chairs, tables, tents, signage, etc.

  • Perform regular preventive and general maintenance around the site, buildings, including painting, cleaning, landscaping and Misc. Projects.

  • Respond to or elevate staff/guest inquiries and or concerns regarding all shows, artist meet and greet packages, amenities, as well as our VIP program and seat upgrades

  • Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy

  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered

  • Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members

  • Diagnose safety issues around the site, help prevent potential safety hazards.

  • Detect and/or respond to faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

  • If applicable, driving forklift and/or other company vehicles and complete all required tasks that fall under those positions.

  • Assist with venue setup/event conversions.

  • Additional tasks as requested by management.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude

  • Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills

  • Skills in guest relations

  • Able to handle manual labor

  • Able to handle long show days; up to 15 hours.

  • High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred:

  • Experience in a live music environment

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful

  • Position requires extended periods working on your feet: constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying

  • Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques
