Experience Level: Entry-Level Recent Graduates Welcome
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?

  • You're competitive by nature you like to win and you keep score, but you're humble enough to know you don't know everything yet.
  • You are relentlessly disciplined. You follow through. Deadlines don't stress you out missing them does.
  • You write exceptionally well. Emails, blurbs, LinkedIn posts, proposals clean, clear, compelling prose comes naturally to you.
  • You tinker with technology on your own time. You've played with AI tools, automation, apps, or platforms just because you were curious.
  • You're smart, and you're not afraid of a steep learning curve. Technical subject matter doesn't intimidate you it motivates you.
  • You want a career in sales but you know you need to earn it by learning the business first.

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role exists to free up our CEO's calendar for high-value sales appointments. You'll handle the groundwork that makes those appointments happen and the follow-up that helps close them. You'll be the connective tissue between our marketing presence, our outbound prospecting efforts, and our CRM. Think of this as sales ops meets marketing support meets junior SDR.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Outbound Prospecting & Pipeline Support

  • Research and build targeted prospect lists using Apollo.io
  • Execute outbound email and LinkedIn sequences on behalf of the CEO
  • Research and attend networking groups, conferences and events to build our network
  • Log and track all prospecting activities in GlassHive and Autotask (PSA)
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule appointments for the CEO

Sales Administration

  • Maintain and update CRM records with accurate, timely data
  • Attend sales appointments with the CEO or engineering team
  • Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and presentation materials

  • Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all written touchpoints

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent any major considered; communications, marketing, business, or IT-adjacent fields are a plus
  • Exceptional written communication skills we will evaluate this directly in the interview process
  • High comfort level with technology; experience with CRM tools, email marketing platforms, LinkedIn, or automation software is a bonus

YOUR GROWTH PATH
This role is designed with upward mobility in mind. If you're disciplined, learn the business, and demonstrate the ability to build relationships, the natural next step is a transition into a full outside sales role with quota responsibility and commission earnings. We promote from within, and this position is how we develop the next generation of our sales team.

WHO ARE WE?

Macro Connect is a Detroit-based Managed Service Provider (MSP) delivering IT services to schools, cities, and businesses. With 27 employees and an office in a renovated historic library, we're a tight-knit, high-performing team that takes our work seriously and has fun doing it.

We're growing, and we need a sharp, hungry, detail-obsessed coordinator to help us scale. This is a ground-floor opportunity to learn the technology sales world from the inside out, earn real responsibility fast, and grow into a full outside sales role if you're willing to put in the work.

HOW TO STAND OUT WHEN YOU APPLY

We receive a lot of applications. The ones that get our attention share three things:

  • Answers to questions that are written well not a template, not AI-generated fluff. Tell us who you are and why this opportunity excites you.
  • Specific examples of writing, projects, or campaigns you've worked on links, portfolios, or samples are welcome.
  • Evidence of self-directed curiosity something you've learned, built, or explored on your own time that made you better.
