Mortgage File Coordinator

First State Community Bank is looking for a fast learning and career driven candidate to fill the role of Mortgage File Coordinator. The Mortgage File Coordinator position is responsible for aiding mortgage loan officers, MLOs, with structuring and reviewing mortgage loan applications as well as working with MLOs and third parties to get through the underwriting process of the loan.

Responsibilities in Accordance with Our Corporate Values

Professionalism

  • Work with underwriting/production/third parties on loan issues or possible restructuring of loan files/conditions
  • Efficiently and accurately communicate all aspects if the loan transaction with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Work with your processing team to devise plan for one touch files per service level agreement
  • Work with underwriting and production team on loan issues or possible restructuring of loan files/conditions

Accountability

  • Ensure that all loans are in compliance and accurately meet GSE Guidelines
  • Record events, issues and resolutions in Encompass

Initiative

  • Constantly seek to improve knowledge of Fixed Rate products
  • Work with your processing team to devise plan for one touch files per service level agreement

Adaptability

  • Review loan conditions to ensure what is received matches what is needed for submission
  • Cross train with department to understand work flow of a file and how each desk in the department works
  • Serve as a resource and support contact for frontline staff seeking knowledge and/or customer support
