What you'll be doing

You'll be joining CIBC's Collaboration Services team. You'll be responsible for providing administration, governance, operational support, and technical expertise for Microsoft 365 collaboration and information governance services, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Purview, Information Protection capabilities such as Sensitivity Labels, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft Copilot. You'll support enterprise-wide adoption by maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant collaboration environments, implementing governance controls, and enabling productivity across the organization. You'll investigate and resolve technical issues, manage escalations, support service reliability, and collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver operational excellence. In addition, you'll support integrations with Microsoft Power Platform services, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, while ensuring alignment with enterprise security, compliance, privacy, records management, and risk management requirements.

How you'll succeed

  • Production Support-Provide administration and operational support for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Forms, and Information Protection. Investigate and resolve incidents, service disruptions, governance issues, data classification challenges, and user requests. Prioritize work by business impact and risk, monitor platform health, manage tenant configurations, support data governance, maintain information protection controls, and implement measures to enhance stability, security, compliance, and user experience.

  • Partnership -Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to drive adoption of Microsoft 365 collaboration and governance solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, Microsoft Copilot, governance, and records management. Support training and adoption initiatives, ensuring solutions align with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, privacy standards, and governance frameworks.AI-generated responses may be incorrect or outdated

  • Projects Delivery-Serve as a subject matter expert for SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Purview, and related Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies. Support design, implementation, governance, and operational readiness of platform capabilities and business solutions. Assess changes, evaluate solutions, and ensure compliance with security, privacy, risk, and information governance standards. Collaborate with teams to establish governance controls, information protection, records management, content lifecycle practices, and collaboration standards. Research emerging Microsoft technologies and recommend enhancements for platform capabilities, governance, compliance, and user productivity.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate 5+ years experience in Microsoft 365 collaboration and information governance technologies, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Purview, Information Protection solutions such as Sensitivity Labels, Microsoft Forms, and Microsoft Copilot. You have experience supporting enterprise collaboration platforms, content management solutions, records management, information governance programs, data classification initiatives, content lifecycle management, compliance controls, and enterprise SaaS services. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Pages, is considered an asset. You possess strong troubleshooting, operational support, stakeholder engagement, governance, and problem-solving skills, with experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments in a large and complex organization. Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, or Microsoft Power Platform certifications are considered strong assets.
