Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Business Analyst to support business process transformation, governance, automation, and low-code application initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and governance functions to gather requirements, analyze processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate business needs into effective Power Platform solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business stakeholders and technology teams.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process discovery sessions.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Support prioritization of business requirements and maintain product/process backlogs.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and Power Platform delivery teams.


Microsoft Power Platform

  • Work with stakeholders and delivery teams across the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power BI
  • Copilot Studio
  • Identify opportunities to leverage Power Platform for workflow automation, low-code application development, reporting, and AI-assisted business processes.
  • Support solution design discussions and ensure proposed solutions align with business requirements.
  • Develop business and functional requirements for Power Platform applications and automation workflows.


Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Support Power Platform governance initiatives, including Center of Excellence (CoE) practices, DLP policies, environment lifecycle management, and governance standards.
  • Work with governance, security, risk, and compliance teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise policies.
  • Support application and automation lifecycle management across Power Platform environments.
  • Identify and document risks, dependencies, controls, and compliance considerations.


Process Transformation & Citizen Development

  • Support enterprise digital transformation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify suitable opportunities for low-code/no-code automation and Citizen Development.
  • Help establish standards and processes for Citizen Developer programs.
  • Evaluate business processes for automation opportunities and recommend appropriate Power Platform capabilities.


Integration & Data

  • Work with technical teams to understand application integrations, APIs, data sources, and data flows.
  • Document business data requirements and integration dependencies.
  • Support analysis of data requirements for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio solutions.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Copilot Studio.
  • Proven experience gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and documenting business needs.
  • Strong experience developing functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working in governance, compliance, security, risk management, digital transformation, or enterprise technology environments.
  • Understanding of Power Platform governance concepts, including CoE, DLP policies, environment management, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with application integrations, APIs, data management, and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of low-code/no-code development and Citizen Development programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Bilingual in French and English โ€“ strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business, technology, security, governance, and delivery teams.
