Step into Your New Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Automation Engineer to lead the design, development, and support of enterprise automation solutions across the Microsoft ecosystem. This role will focus on Microsoft IntuneMicrosoft 365Entra ID (Azure AD)Azure AutomationPower PlatformCopilot Studio, and Azure AI (Microsoft Foundry).

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft's automation technologies and a passion for reducing manual effort through scalable, secure, and intelligent automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Automation

  • Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, device compliance, application deployment, and policy management.
  • Design and implement automated onboarding, provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management processes for Windows devices.
  • Develop automation solutions for device compliance monitoring, remediation, patching, and reporting.
  • Support endpoint security initiatives in partnership with Infrastructure and Information Security teams.

Azure & Microsoft 365 Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain enterprise automation solutions using:
    • Azure Automation
    • Azure Functions
    • Logic Apps
    • PowerShell
    • Microsoft Graph API
    • Azure Runbooks
  • Automate Microsoft 365 administration tasks including user provisioning, licensing, group management, and access governance.
  • Create and maintain automation workflows for operational reporting, compliance, and platform administration.

Power Platform & Copilot Solutions

  • Design and support solutions using:
    • Power Automate
    • Power Apps
    • Dataverse
    • Copilot Studio
  • Develop AI-powered workflows and conversational solutions that improve business processes and user productivity.
  • Integrate enterprise applications and Microsoft 365 services through low-code and pro-code automation solutions.

Azure AI & Microsoft Foundry

  • Build and support AI-enabled automation using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft AI services.
  • Develop intelligent workflows utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and enterprise knowledge sources.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and process optimization.

Reporting & Operational Excellence

  • Develop automated reporting solutions for Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure, licensing, security posture, and operational metrics.
  • Monitor automation platforms and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft cloud technologies in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong expertise with:
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Azure Automation
    • PowerShell
    • Microsoft Graph API
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining enterprise automation solutions.
  • Experience with:
    • Power Automate
    • Power Apps
    • Logic Apps
    • Azure Functions
    • Copilot Studio
  • Experience implementing and supporting Azure AI or AI-driven automation solutions.
  • Strong understanding of identity, access management, and endpoint management best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary Range:$75,850-$126,585
