Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass (heart-lung) equipment during surgical procedures
  • Monitor and maintain patient physiological status (blood flow, oxygenation, anticoagulation, temperature)
  • Partner closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Support ECMO and other circulatory support systems as needed
  • Participate in patient care planning and intraoperative decision-making
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
