Summary:

The Product Manager is responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for a product, platform, capability, or portfolio. They serve as the voice of the customer while balancing business objectives, operational requirements, regulatory considerations, and technology constraints. Product Managers are empowered decision-makers who identify customer needs, define desired business outcomes, and lead cross-functional teams in delivering solutions that create measurable value.

Product Managers partner closely with stakeholders across Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Sales to ensure product investments align with organizational priorities and customer expectations.

Detailed Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Leadership

  • Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap.

  • Align product objectives with business goals, enterprise initiatives, and customer needs.

  • Establish product objectives, key results, and success metrics.

  • Advocate for customer-centric decision making throughout the product lifecycle.

Product Discovery & Market Analysis

  • Identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities through research, feedback, and market analysis.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive offerings, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments.

  • Validate business problems and solution opportunities through data and stakeholder engagement.

Roadmap & Prioritization

  • Own and maintain the product roadmap.

  • Prioritize initiatives, features, enhancements, and technical investments based on customer value and business impact.

  • Facilitate trade-off discussions across stakeholders and delivery teams.

  • Balance short-term business needs with long-term strategic objectives.

Product Development & Delivery Oversight

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Technology teams, and Delivery Leaders to define product capabilities and outcomes.

  • Ensure product requirements, success criteria, and expected business benefits are clearly defined.

  • Participate in planning, testing, implementation, and release activities.

  • Support teams in removing barriers and making informed product decisions.

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary business representative for the product.

  • Build alignment across business units and enterprise stakeholders.

  • Communicate roadmap updates, delivery progress, risks, and investment recommendations.

  • Facilitate decision-making and conflict resolution among stakeholders.

Product Performance & Optimization

  • Define and monitor product performance indicators and business outcomes.

  • Measure adoption, customer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and financial results.

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.

  • Utilize customer feedback and performance data to inform future investments.

Risk, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure product capabilities align with applicable regulatory, legal, compliance, and risk requirements.

  • Partner with governance stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Support required approval processes, controls, audits, and documentation activities.

  • Balance innovation with risk management and operational stability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Product Development, Product Owner, or Product Manager role.
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Kyriba experience / focus
  • PSPO III or CSP-PO and PAL1 or CAL1
  • Strong experience with retail or business financial services.
  • Experience building high performing teams.
  • Strong experience with user-centered design and usability.

Compensation Range:

$93,000 - $189,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
