Job Description:
Job Summary
Responsible for leading design, implementation, and optimization of revenue cycle systems to ensure alignment with strategic, financial, and regulatory objectives. Provides advanced analysis of complex workflows and develops innovative solutions that enhance revenue performance. Ensures enterprise-wide data integrity and compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. Develops strategies that support clinical documentation, reduce denials, and improve reimbursement. Coordinates with executives, clinical leaders, and IT teams to deliver scalable, sustainable revenue cycle improvements.
Essential Functions
• Leads system design, configuration, and optimization of enterprise revenue cycle applications.
• Oversees data integrity audits, complex analysis, and reporting
• to support financial and compliance objectives.
• Develops and implements solutions to improve charge capture, claims processing, and reimbursement accuracy.
• Advises leadership on revenue cycle system strategies, market trends, and regulatory impacts.
• Directs system upgrade planning, testing, validation, and implementation across departments.
• Mentors and guides analysts in system troubleshooting, reporting, and process improvement.
• Collaborates with executives, clinical leaders, and finance teams to align system capabilities with organizational strategy.
• Monitors payer and regulatory changes, ensuring proactive system and workflow adjustments.
• Develops performance dashboards and presents outcomes to senior leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirement: 5+ years of experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
Certifications & Licensures: Epic certification in applicable module(s) required.
