About the Job
MedStar Washington Hospital Center Division of Audiology is seeking a qualified Audiologist to join our practice in Washington, DC. This position offers the opportunity to practice with a dedicated and highly trained clinical staff.

We are seeking providers with the following qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Audiology or AuD is required. New graduates will be considered.
  • Licensure as an Audiologist in the District of Columbia.
  • Certification by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required.

Responsibilities of the Provider:
  • Provide full range of diagnostic audiological and vestibular services to patients, including neonates, with hearing disorders or balance disturbances.
  • Evaluate, select and fit patients with cochlear and bone conduction implants, assistive listening devices, hearing aids, and amplification systems.
  • Train audiology interns.

The Division of Audiology is part of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at MedStar Washington Hospital Center (MWHC). The Division of Audiology currently has four providers. As noted above, we seek a provider who is broadly trained in audiology and comfortable with the variety of patients cared for in our practice.
