Math Tutor (In Person)Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Tutor to provide personalized, in-person tutoring services for a grade 8 student in Vancouver. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a young learner's academic journey by building confidence and strengthening mathematical foundations through engaging, one-on-one instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized math instruction tailored to grade 8 curriculum standards and student's individual learning needs
  • Assess student's current mathematical abilities and identify areas requiring focused attention and improvement
  • Develop customized lesson plans and learning materials that align with school curriculum and learning objectives
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that make mathematics accessible and enjoyable
  • Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements
