Job Summary:

The role of a Machine Operator is integral to the manufacturing process, contributing to the successful production of automotive components while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work on the line to perform tasks related to production of automotive components. Follow standardized work procedures and assembly instructions.
  • Operate machinery and tools necessary for the production process.
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct quality checks on the finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Identify and address any deviations from quality requirements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment or the assembly process.
  • Install and fit various components to specifications.
  • Handle and move materials, parts, and tools efficiently within the production area.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of materials.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation related to production activities.
  • Input data into computerized systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production processes.
