The Role:
Are you looking for a dynamic PR agency where you're mentored for growth? Would you like to work with passionate professionals with creative minds, building campaigns for some of the most talked-about new brands, as well as established market leaders? If so, Moxie Communications Group is the place for you.
Moxie Account Coordinators support several account teams in their day-to-day operations on a mix of consumer and B2B / tech clients, including analyzing media coverage, researching, building media lists, and more. Successful candidates will have about 1 year of experience (including internships) in public relations or a related field, familiarity with administrative work, strong project management and organizational skills, and a real excitement to learn about media relations from experienced, successful professionals.
This position is open to candidates based in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut. Moxie operates as a remote-first team with an office in New York City (SoHo, Manhattan) available to those who want it.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor media daily for trends, competitor news and client coverage
  • Create and maintain targeted media lists
  • Track all press coverage and create media reports
  • Manage and create meeting agendas and recaps, fact sheets, press releases, bios and other relevant press materials
  • Conduct and deliver research
  • Assist with writing pitches and developing award and conference speaking submissions
  • Participate in internal and client brainstorming sessions and share bold ideas
  • Exhibit excellent judgment and professionalism

Qualifications:
  • Approximately 1 year of experience (including internships) in public relations or a related field, ideally on consumer brands and/or B2B / tech clients
  • Administrative office experience, ideally with Google apps (Gmail, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and deliver on a high volume of projects
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for various media verticals, audiences and contexts
  • Proactive, persistent, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with the ability to stay organized and adapt quickly in a fast-paced media landscape to deliver on client KPIs
  • A collaborative mindset and passion for continuous learning
  • Experience with affiliate marketing and influencers is a plus, but not required

Compensation:
