Product Service Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking a Product Service Consultant to support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes for our client's technology offerings, fully on-site in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will have a significant impact on overall product quality and customer experience for our Company's Terrain technologies, providing support and service engineering that includes product validation and the investigation, troubleshooting, and diagnosis of application and technical issues.

Core responsibilities include creating documentation and validating the form, fit, and function of newly developed products as part of NPI projects; evaluating defects identified in production products as part of CPI efforts; and providing advanced support to internal and external customers, including triaging escalations to restore customer production systems. The role carries a strong project management emphasis and requires close collaboration across internal and external relationships.

Team Structure & Work Environment

This is a globally connected role, reporting into the work director and collaborating with a 25-person internal team spread across multiple regions. The work environment is primarily a standard office setting, with some in-field exposure at above-ground mining sites; all required PPE is provided for site visits. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Tucson, AZ, as this is a local, on-site position.

Requirements

Education & Experience

         3-4 years of relevant experience, including experience with NPI and CPI processes.

         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mining Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering; an Associate's degree will be considered with additional relevant experience.

         Relevant internship experience may count toward experience requirements, depending on duration and relevance.

         Comparable prior titles include Product Service Consultant or Product Service Engineer.
