Interested in becoming a Lawyer? Have some time to learn practice experience this fall during your Fall semester in law school? Want to get hands-on experience with real people and real cases? Gore & Kuperman is a great place to start your legal career.

G&K is searching for current law school students or recent law school graduates to join our dedicated staff of lawyers and administrators for a full-time Fall internship in Fairfax, VA, beginning in August 2023 and ending in December 2023, or later if desired.

If you are interested in working at an established personal injury office, this could be the internship for you! In this role, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to work directly with lawyers and contribute to helping injured victims and their needs.

We are looking for thick-skinned and energetic law students who are passionate about their upcoming legal career, and are ready to get their hands dirty and hit the ground running. Applicants should be proactive, resourceful, and attentive to detail. Strong research and writing skills are preferred.

Duties include:
Performing legal research;
Drafting memoranda and legal documents;
Organizing case files and legal documents;

Other office administrative tasks

Communicating with clients

Note-taking at meetings, depositions, etc.

Maintaining schedules;

The ideal candidate should be extremely detail oriented, cooperative, considerate, and have excellent communication skills. Someone with some law school experience would be perfect.

Please note the firm is not metro accessible, but is accessible by bus. This is a non-paid position, but the right candidate may be eligible for a weekly stipend depending on hours of availability and relevant experience.

Bilingual candidate in Spanish is a plus.

Desired applicant would have at least 1 year of law school completed and should have taken at least one torts and civil procedure law class and one legal writing and/or research class.
