Overview

We are seeking a motivated Help Desk/Desktop Support Technician to join a growing IT team in Midland, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career who is eager to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of information technology.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a positive attitude, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This role offers exposure to a variety of IT responsibilities and the opportunity to develop alongside an expanding organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier I/II help desk and desktop support for end users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Active Directory user administration.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and equipment setup.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware.
  • Document support requests and resolutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a busy user community.
  • Assist with additional IT projects as needed.
  • Occasional local travel may be required.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation in the future as the team grows.

Requirements

  • Previous help desk or desktop support experience, or a recent IT graduate with relevant internship experience.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft 365
    • Active Directory
    • Windows desktop operating systems
    • Basic hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative IT team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting a small to mid-sized organization is preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a strong plus.
