Job description

General Description: This internship provides students with direct exposure to manufacturing operations, production support activities, work instruction development, safety initiatives, andtraining coordination within a dynamic LSR injection molding manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Responsibilities: Create and update production work instructions. Support safety initiatives and training documentation. Assist with production reporting and operational organization.

Analyze production performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Support KPI development, reporting, and performance tracking initiatives. Assist with operational performance reviews and continuous improvement projects.

Collaborate with Production Leadership to evaluate productivity, quality, and efficiencymetrics. Help develop safety and training matrices. Support manufacturing process improvements.

Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel. Assist with operational efficiency initiatives. Participate in shop floor improvement projects.

Identify non-conforming products or processes during inspections and ensure that propercontainment actions are taken. Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and implement corrective andpreventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with the production, engineering, and qualityteams. Document non-conformance reports (NCRs), track quality issues, and provide feedbackto relevant teams on trends and recurring problems.
