Residential Construction Helper (Sheetrock / HVAC Duct Helper)
Full-Time | Biloxi, MS (Keesler Air Force Base)
Pay: $13.00+/hr DOE | Overtime Available

We're seeking dependable Residential Construction Helpers to join a growing team working on residential projects located on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with basic construction experience who are eager to learn and grow their skills in sheetrock installation, HVAC ductwork, and general construction.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced craftsmen with residential sheetrock installation, finishing, and repairs.
  • Help install and assemble residential HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems.
  • Load, unload, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials under supervision.
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites.
  • Follow directions from supervisors and skilled tradesmen.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Follow all job site safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
  • Perform general construction labor as needed to support the crew.

Qualifications
  • Basic experience in sheetrock work and/or HVAC ductwork preferred.
  • General residential construction experience is a plus.
  • Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
  • Comfortable working on ladders and in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
