Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Jacksonville, Florida.

Job Description & Requirements

This position requires a Florida Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. For information regarding the screening process, please visit the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Education & Awareness website:  

Requirements: 13 week assignment
4x10 hour shifts, shift start times will be 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM depending on call shifts of department. Flexible to work holidays as well. 
Call required 7 PM- 7 AM, 1 week day each shift each week and 1 weekend shift per month

 

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Summary:

Provides service to adolescents and adults by producing high-quality images for Radiology and assigned areas within the Operating Room that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology. This role requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology, adherence to safety guidelines for patients and personnel, and fostering teamwork through effective communication. Flexibility is essential to staff various work locations, shift times, and lengths, including responding to an on-call pager for days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before the start date of employment.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T.(R) (ARRT).
  • ARRT registration in Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) within 18 months of the start date.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique.
  • Associates degree.
  • Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery experience.
  • Previous scrub cases experience.
