Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT R.T.(R) certification and prior scrub case experience in body, neuro, and vascular surgery.

Details
  • Provides imaging services for adolescent and adult patients in Radiology and select Operating Room areas
  • 4x10 hour shifts with start times of 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM depending on call schedule
  • Flexible to work holidays as needed
  • On-call required from 7 PM to 7 AM, one weekday shift each week and one weekend shift per month
  • Uses Epic for charting
  • Must be flexible to staff various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in Interventional Radiology required
  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date
  • ARRT R.T.(R) certification required
  • ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification required within 18 months of start, strongly preferred at time of hire
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross) required
  • License required if applicable
  • Associate's degree preferred
  • Experience in Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery required
  • Previous scrub case experience required
  • Experience working in a sterile environment and using aseptic technique preferred
