Job Description Summary
The Practicum and Internship Coordinator will work closely with the School Counseling Program Director in the Department of Psychology.

Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
-Coordinate and lead student orientation meetings regarding practicum/internship requirements
-Orienting and aiding students in the practicum/internship search process
-Developing strong working relationships with practicum/internship sites
-Monitoring all paperwork associated with students' practica and internships
-Keeping in contact with students' site supervisors
-Monitoring students progress in completing practicum and internship
-Coordinating remediation efforts when necessary for students who need extra skill development or those students who demonstrate conflicts with ethical issues.
-Other duties as assigned by the School Counseling Program Director. '
Minimum Qualifications
Strong organizational, teaching, communication and interpersonal skills. This position requires a masters degree and relevant experience in a human service field.
