Job Description:

Resource Manager

As a Resource Manager at Zeno, you will partner with Finance, Corporate Affairs leadership and cross-functional teams to support workforce planning and resource management across the practice. You will help ensure teams have the right talent, capacity and operational support to deliver outstanding client work while contributing to a positive employee experience.

This role is ideal for a collaborative operations professional who enjoys solving complex staffing challenges, analyzing workforce trends and building strong relationships across the organization. You'll have the opportunity to shape resource planning, improve operational processes and help teams succeed.

About the Role:

  • Resource Planning & Workforce Management: Partner with practice leadership and project teams to coordinate staffing across client programs, aligning talent, skills and capacity with business needs.

  • Capacity Planning & Business Operations: Work closely with Finance and agency leadership to monitor the new business pipeline, forecast resource needs and support long-term workforce planning.

  • Staffing Strategy & Talent Alignment: Identify staffing opportunities and potential resource gaps while recommending solutions that balance business priorities, employee development and utilization.

  • Reporting & Operational Insights: Monitor utilization, staffing trends and workforce metrics, providing insights and recommendations that support operational and business decisions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Resource Management and practice leaders to support staffing decisions, workload planning and organizational effectiveness.

  • Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Help evolve resource management processes, systems and tools that improve efficiency, visibility and collaboration across the agency.

  • Employee Experience & Team Development: Build strong relationships across the Corporate Affairs practice, helping leaders understand team capabilities, identify development opportunities and support thoughtful workload management.

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in resource management, operations, workforce planning or a related field, preferably within an agency or professional services environment.

  • Experience coordinating staffing, resource planning or workforce management across multiple teams or client engagements.

  • Strong understanding of agency operations, utilization and workforce planning principles.

  • Experience analyzing staffing data and operational metrics to identify trends and recommend solutions.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with experience balancing multiple priorities and changing business needs.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex staffing and operational challenges.

  • Experience handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with resource management or project management platforms such as Smartsheet, PSA, Workamajig, 10,000ft or similar systems.

  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for improving processes, supporting teams and creating positive employee experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting communications, marketing, advertising or other agency environments.

  • Experience partnering with Finance or Human Resources on workforce planning initiatives.

  • Experience helping implement operational process improvements or resource management systems.

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD/yr.

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
