Social Worker Position - Baltimore, MD
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated School-Based Social Worker to join a collaborative and school based team. This role supports students with mental health needs, and a strong focus on promoting academic achievement, emotional well-being, and social development.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Social Work
  • Active Maryland Social Work License
  • Strong interest in supporting students with special education needs and related social-emotional challenges
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and contributing to a positive, supportive school environment

Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health support to students with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and service plans aligned with student goals
  • Deliver individual and group interventions focused on social skills development and emotional regulation
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary school-based team to design and implement programming that supports student success
