To thrive as an Internship Informatica Developer, you should have a foundation in database concepts, SQL, and data integration principles, usually supported by coursework or a degree in computer science or a related field. Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter, ETL tools, and data warehousing systems is commonly required, and knowledge of relevant certifications can be beneficial. You may be involved in developing, testing, and debugging Informatica mappings and workflows, as well as supporting data quality and validation efforts. Interns often collaborate closely with data analysts, business analysts, and IT teams, gaining exposure to real-world scenarios and best practices.
