We are seeking a Senior Informatica Administrator to support critical enterprise systems and data integration initiatives for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

This is a high-impact, senior-level role responsible for:

• Enterprise Informatica platform administration
• Secure data movement and integration
• Infrastructure and application support
• Compliance with VA, NIST, and Federal security standards

Your work will directly support systems and services that help deliver care and operational support to Veterans nationwide.

The Senior Informatica Administrator serves as a key member of a team responsible for maintaining and optimizing a complex enterprise Informatica environment.

This role requires:

• Deep hands-on Informatica administration expertise
• Strong infrastructure and integration knowledge
• Experience supporting secure Federal environments
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams, vendors, ISSOs, and stakeholders

This is not a passive operations role-we are seeking a hands-on technologist who can administer, troubleshoot, secure, and improve enterprise Informatica platforms.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 8+ years overall IT experience
• 6+ years direct hands-on Informatica Administration experience
• Experience working in:
  • Enterprise environments
  • Federal or highly regulated environments preferred

• Expert-level Informatica Administration experience
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Informatica PowerCenter
  • Informatica Data Quality
  • Informatica TDM
• Experience with:
  • Application integrations
  • Data movement and ETL workflows
  • Scripting and automation
  • Infrastructure troubleshooting

• SSO / SOA architectures
• PowerShell scripting
• Red Hat Linux
• Cloud technologies and storage
• Database design and table structures
• Data security and governance
• PII / PHI data handling

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams

• Experience supporting VA or Federal systems
• Familiarity with:
  • NIST standards
  • FedRAMP
  • Federal cybersecurity compliance
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale healthcare or financial systems

• Administer and support enterprise Informatica environments including:
  • PowerCenter
  • Data Quality
  • TDM (Test Data Management)
• Manage and maintain Informatica platform domains and components
• Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health

• Ensure compliance with:
  • NIST cybersecurity standards
  • VA information security policies
  • Federal security requirements
• Collaborate with:
  • ISSOs
  • System owners
  • Security stakeholders
• Design and implement secure data handling and access controls for:
  • PII
  • PHI

• Design and manage complex integration architectures
• Support:
  • Application integrations
  • Data movement workflows
  • Infrastructure connectivity
• Troubleshoot enterprise processing workflows and data pipelines

• Analyze current and future system requirements
• Support:
  • Capacity planning
  • Infrastructure lifecycle management
  • Requirements engineering
• Recommend process improvements and technical enhancements

• Write and maintain:
  • Informatica scripts
  • Queries
  • PowerShell and Linux-based automation scripts
• Support system automation and operational efficiency initiatives

• Work closely with:
  • Internal customers
  • Vendors
  • Engineers
  • Federal stakeholders
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
• Foster knowledge sharing and operational best practices

• ETL Developers without administration experience
• Junior Informatica Administrators
• Candidates without enterprise infrastructure exposure
• Candidates lacking security/compliance experience

• Stable and secure Informatica platform operations
• Successful integration and data movement workflows
• Strong compliance with Federal security standards
• Efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders
