Job description

Internship - IT Intern Brentwood is a solutions provider for highly diverse worldwide industries including automotive, medical packaging, cooling systems, stormwater management, and water & wastewater treatment. At Brentwood, we engineer and manufacture both custom and proprietary products ranging from sterile medical packaging to highly sophisticated water media systems. Our diverse capabilities and expertise in these industries have allowed us to experience continued growth both here in the United States and abroad for over 50 years. The IT Intern will play a vital role in assisting with a structured project to begin building a centralized knowledge resource for Brentwood's ERP environment and supporting systems. The goal of this internship project is to document key ERP-related workflows and create a foundational internal knowledge library that improves visibility into how Brentwood's systems support business operations. The IT Intern will develop a strong foundational understanding of ERP environments, enhancing system visibility, supporting more efficient IT operations, and producing documentation that will serve as a valuable resource for future initiatives. This internship is located in Reading, PA. Brentwood's Internship program gives students the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world work experience aligned with their studies. Each summer we offer a variety of paid internships to college and university students in undergraduate programs. Eligibility Requirements
  • Full-time student in a 4-year (BA, BS) Business Analytics, Information Technology, and related programs.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8
  • Be legally authorized to work within the U.S.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational and planning skills
  • An understanding of process mapping and IT concepts
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Program Requirements:
  • Attend first day orientation
  • Full-time availability between June 1rd- August 8th
  • Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and policies
  • Final Deliverable - Must prepare and present to management and leadership
