Meridian Health Services is currently seeking an INTERN Masters Level Clinical Social Worker for our Addictions program located in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. As an Intern you will be responsible for the observation of clinical services and work under the supervision of licensed therapists to provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families. All interns will work in collaboration with a Meridian employee for patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist licensed therapists with conducting patient assessments, including interviews and psychological testing
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of licensed therapists
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques and interventions to facilitate patient progress
  • Participate in case conferences and treatment planning meetings with the therapy team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
  • Observe and adhere to patient confidentiality policies
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills
  • Comply with all agency policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations

We are seeking candidates with the following qualities:
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Valid driver's license, a driving record meeting Meridian's driving policy, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance required.
