Staff Accountant
LHH is actively partnering with several well-known and growing organizations across the Richmond market that are seeking Accountants at the entry to mid-level. These opportunities offer strong growth potential, team-oriented environments, and a mix of on-site and hybrid schedules.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prepare and maintain journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end close activities
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
  • Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to support financial operations
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP systems and/or QuickBooks
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-5+ years of accounting or finance experience (internships welcome for entry-level roles)
  • Experience with AP, AR, or general ledger accounting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and on a team
