Position Summary
As a Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accounting support and financial planning and analysis for the Corporate Controllers and Rebates Department. You will also be responsible for maintaining sub-ledgers, performing monthly reconciliations of client payable accounts, processing adjustments in the Rebate System, and ensuring balances are in sync with Manufacturer A/R. You should also be comfortable performing internal control testing of certain Rebates functions in compliance with SOX, preparing monthly client profitability analysis, preparing monthly rebate booking files and Journal Entries, and explaining variance drivers.
Required Qualifications

  • 1 or more years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting
  • 1 or more years of professional work and/or internship experience, preferably working with Access, Excel, SAP, accounting transactions, analytics, or variance research.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing databases and applications for data transformation and validation, as well as setting up user interface forms and expertise in data mining
  • SQL experience
  • PBM experience is a plus
  • Ability to understand and calculate complex financial arrangements
  • Experience in trade finance, rebate operations, finance, corporate accounting, or operations would be helpful.


Education

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field strongly preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
