As an Accounting Intern, you'll work alongside our accounting team, gaining exposure to the financial operations that support large construction projects. You'll learn industry-specific accounting processes while contributing to the day-to-day success of the department.

What You'll Do

As an Accounting Intern, you'll assist the accounting team with a variety of administrative and accounting functions, including:

  • Assist with processing accounts payable invoices and supporting documentation.
  • Help organize and maintain electronic accounting records.
  • Support the collection and tracking of lien waivers and other compliance documentation.
  • Assist with employee expense report processing.
  • Help reconcile vendor statements and identify discrepancies.
  • Support vendor setup by gathering required documentation, including W-9 forms.
  • Assist with credit card reconciliations and coding transactions.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal team members regarding invoice or payment questions.
  • Learn and utilize accounting software, including Vista.
  • Perform general administrative and accounting support as assigned.
