  • The role sits within the Accounting Automation team and supports transformational initiatives to modernize the tools and applications that support Accounting and Finance operations.
  • It oversees the maintenance and enhancement of the Accounting and Finance application portfolio, including coordination with vendors on product development and release schedules. The position also partners with stakeholders to deliver automated, innovative process improvements and provides mentorship to team members.
What you'll do
  • Supports the Hyperion planning application, monthly, for forecast and actual financials
  • Validates the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from controllers
  • Investigates and resolves issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
  • Supports system maintenance; maintains user permissions
  • Supports users with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models
  • Assists with preparation of in-depth cause and effect analyses on a variety of complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses
  • Coordinates and completes monthly headcount process with respect to Hyperion
  • Updates Hyperion Planning with hierarchy changes; coordinate hierarchy changes with Controllers and GL administration
  • Consults with work groups to determine reporting business requirements; proposes and presents efficient solutions
  • Creates Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as forecasting and planning models for Finance divisions
All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Information Systems or equivalent experience/training
  • 3 years’ work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial statements, as well as financial modeling and analysis
  • Strong IT background, including experience with Oracle and multi-dimensional and relational database structures
  • Microsoft Power BI or other dashboard query experience
  • Experience in low code/no code tools such as workflow automation (Alteryx) or agent build (Copilot)

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • MBA
  • Experience using Hyperion, Anaplan, as well as development and administration experience (including Hyperion Financial Reporting, Essbase, Planning, HFM)

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of analytical approaches pertaining to financial issues
  • ​Ability to problem-solve, model and analyze data
  • Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
