Marketing Intern

King Operating Corporation | Addison, TX | Paid Internship | Hybrid

King Operating Corporation is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented intern to support the Marketing Director with content, communications, lead management and day-to-day marketing projects.

This is a hands-on role for a student interested in marketing, sales support, energy and business. This is a hybrid internship with work in and outside of our Addison, TX office, during an agreed-upon schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Draft social media posts, newsletters, email campaigns and website content.
  • Assist with media talking points, podcast rundowns and executive communications.
  • Schedule and monitor social media content.
  • Support lead generation, lead distribution and sales follow-up.
  • Maintain contact records, lists, campaigns and reports in HubSpot CRM.
  • Track marketing, email, social media and lead-performance analytics.
  • Create and update graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud programs.
  • Use Asana to manage projects, deadlines and recurring marketing tasks.
  • Help prepare webinars, events, presentations and sales materials.
  • Organize marketing files and document recurring processes.

Qualifications

  • Current college student in Dallas area pursuing marketing, communications, business, advertising, graphic design or a related degree.
  • Strong writing, proofreading and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Asana and Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.
  • Comfortable working with social media, spreadsheets and basic analytics.
  • Able to manage multiple deadlines and work independently after training.
  • Professional, dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to commute to the Dallas office.
