About the Company


Real Estate Development/Investment Management firm, looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join the team. This is a true generalist role designed for an HR professional who is eager to build broad experience across the HR function while contributing to an employee-centric organization.


About the Role


This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with the VP of Human Resources on talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, payroll and benefits, and other strategic HR initiatives. The HR Generalist will play an active role in strengthening employee experience while building the knowledge and skills for continued professional growth. This role requires strong organizational skills, sound judgment, initiative, and the ability to balance strategic projects with day-to-day HR responsibilities.



Responsibilities


  • Cross-Functional HR Knowledge
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of payroll, benefits, leave management, HR systems, and compliance processes to provide support across the HR team.
  • Collaborate closely with all members of the HR team to support department initiatives and provide backup coverage when appropriate.
  • Assist with HR reporting, compliance activities, audits, and other department responsibilities as assigned.


  • Talent Acquisition
  • Support the organization's recruiting and onboarding efforts.
  • Assist with evaluating and enhancing recruiting and onboarding processes over time.


  • Performance Management & Employee Development
  • Assist with the administration of the organization's performance management program, including 90-day reviews, mid-year check-ins, annual reviews, and performance documentation.
  • Assist with developing manager and employee resources, training materials, and communications.
  • Coordinate employee training and other learning initiatives by supporting program planning, managing training vendor relationships, scheduling trainings, and overseeing event logistics.
  • Help evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.


  • Employee Engagement & Retention
  • Support the implementation of employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Analyze employee feedback and workforce trends to help identify opportunities to strengthen engagement and retention.
  • Coordinate employee events and other initiatives that contribute to engagement, retention, and an overall positive employee experience (i.e., employee appreciation, new hire gifting, new hire luncheons, etc.).


  • HR Programs & Strategic Initiatives
  • Participate in HR projects, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes, programs, and overall efficiency.
  • Provide research, analysis, and administrative support for organizational initiatives and special projects.
  • Assist with the maintenance of HR policies, forms, communications, and manager resources.

What You Bring to Us:


  • 4โ€“7 years of Human Resources experience, with exposure to multiple HR disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of Paylocity or a similar HRIS preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude with an ability to leverage technology to streamline and improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams a plus.
