Job description

Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the ongoing, effective daily operation of Risk Management activities. Such responsibilities include incorporation of the Corporate TERM Program into the overall functions of South Texas Health System. Supervises all Risk Management department staff members. Ensures continuous reporting to Administration and Corporate Risk Management.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 10+ years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management required.
2. CPRHM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management preferred.
3. 5-8 years of management experience required.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
5. Must be able to plan, organize and utilize leadership skills to implement programs.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Must be able to travel to other STHS facilities.
8. Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to STHS's Compliance Program and Code of Conduct
through compliance with all policies and procedures, the Code of Conduct, attendance at required training and immediately reporting suspected compliance issue(s) to the Compliance Officer.
EDUCATION / LICENSURE:
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred or 8 to 10 years of experience in risk management in lieu of degree.
