Responsibilities

You really need to know your stuff. This is not an internship.

Analytics, A/B split testing, experiments, conversion rates should be second nature to you. Do you read the latest trends on search engines daily? Do you know who Matt Cutts is? Do you know if Google's +1 has any effect on ranking?

The elevent most important responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day SEM / SEO activities including new product launch initiatives, site enhancements, content development, link building campaigns, and all associated reporting & analysis.
  • Manage freelancers for content generation and link-building.
  • Implement Paid Search/SEO strategies and plans for organization.
  • Improve SEO rankings through technical Web site enhancements, linking strategies, copy/metadata optimization, and internal process improvement.
  • Monitor data on a regular basis using SEOmoz, Google Webmaster Tools, and other available tools.
  • Develop dashboards for search programs in collaboration with Digital Marketing team, drive competitive search analysis, and report on channel performance at the ad group, campaign and keyword level.
  • Perform analysis of SEO performance using vendor and e-commerce analytics platform.
  • Implement SEO/SEM modifications based on analysis.
  • Optimize search efforts related to shopping engines.
  • Optimize landing pages and develop new customer experiences for search programs.
  • Stay on top of emerging SEO and SEM trends and technologies; sharing newest best practices and suggestions for changes to current processes.
