CEC Entertainment, the global leader in family entertainment and operator of Chuck E. Cheese, and Peter Piper Pizza, is seeking an Intern for the Fall semester in our Marketing Department to support the Brand team.
This is a paid internship that will provide you an opportunity for professional growth and development. This program will not qualify for college credit (exceptions may apply). This exciting opportunity will be based at our Corporate Support Center in Irving, TX and requires 40 hours a week, with work hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This will be a hybrid work arrangement of mostly in-person/on-site work and some remote/WFH.
You will have the opportunity to learn:
  • Marketing Campaign Production Processes

  • Content Calendar Management

  • Creative Brief Writing

  • Email Marketing

  • Project Management

  • Website Content & Local Listings Management

  • Marketing systems and software (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office/Teams, MoEngage, OneDrive, Punchh, Rio, Smartsheets, WordPress and more)

Applicable majors/interests:
  • Advertising, Business, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or relevant field

General responsibilities may include (but not limited to):
  • Supporting the Brand Marketing team on both creative and digital projects

  • Assisting with email marketing campaigns

  • Conducting research on competitor promotions, pricing and creative

  • Drafting blogs and website content for search engine optimization

  • Managing marketing projects and updating status documents

  • Reviewing and summarizing offer and campaign performance

  • Updating websites and online ordering channels with refreshed copy, images and content

  • Writing and submitting creative brief requests for marketing campaigns

  • Administrative tasks as needed

You should be:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited college or university

  • Possess great communication skills, and be proactive and eager to learn

  • Have a passion for Advertising and marketing

Physical Demands:
To perform the duties of this position, the incumbent must have the ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach, and carry, lift, pull, push between 1 - 25 lbs. Incumbent must use a computer, with the repetitive movement of both hands. Incumbent must be able to work an 8-hour shift, with some overtime. Incumbent must also be available to travel to various locations by airplane or by operating a vehicle if needed.
