Job description

THE ROLE: The Career Success Coordinator supports the day to day coordination of Scholar Career Coaching's Beyond the Cap: Workforce Development Program. This position supports participating students, career readiness activities, paid micro internship participation, volunteer Career Coaches, and program activities.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support student onboarding, communication, and ongoing participation.
  • Provide career coaching and guidance, including resume reviews, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and career readiness support.
  • Help students navigate the workforce platform and available micro internship opportunities.
  • Monitor student participation, project completion, and program requirements.
  • Recruit and coordinate volunteer Career Coaches as needed.
  • Coordinate virtual workshops, guest speakers, and career related activities.
  • Assist with program activities and event planning.
  • Administer surveys and maintain accurate program records and outcomes.
  • Assist with other Beyond the Cap activities as needed.


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in program coordination, career services, student services, workforce development, higher education, nonprofit programming, human resources, or a related field.
  • Experience working with college students or emerging professionals is preferred.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable reviewing resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and providing basic career guidance.
  • Strong follow through, dependability, and responsiveness.
  • Comfortable working independently and supporting college students.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, virtual platforms, and other technology tools.
  • Comfortable learning and navigating online career and workforce platforms.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional meetings and events throughout Palm Beach and Broward Counties.
