Job description

We are currently hiring golf course grounds employees at Milwaukee Country Club located in River Hills, WI. Preferred candidates are required to possess a strong attention to quality and demonstrate a willingness to contribute their skills to a team dedicated to the ongoing transformation of the golf course into one of the finest in the nation.

Duties:
  • Precise mowing of greens, tees, collars, fairways and rough
  • Operate a variety of equipment, power tools, and various hand tools
  • Execute detailed maintenance tasks for various areas of the golf course landscape, including maintaining sand bunkers, performing push mowing, and string trimming
  • Assist with various projects aimed at improving golf course conditions

We are open to accommodating flexible work schedules based on your availability, with weekly hours ranging from 20 to 45 hours per week. Candidates are needed for all days of the week as the golf course operates 7 days per week. Typical workdays are as follows:

  • Monday: 6 am to 4:30 pm
  • Tuesday Thursday: 6 am to 2:30 pm
  • Friday: 6 am to 12 pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 6 am to 10 am
  • Requirements:
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Capability to work in diverse weather conditions
  • Proficiency in collaborating effectively with a team
  • Possession of reliable transportation
  • Promptness in starting work at 6:00 am
  • Strict adherence to daily attendance
