Position Summary:
Community Care Plan (CCP) is proud to offer an internship program that will prepare students for the workforce. This is a great internship opportunity to gain hands-on professional experience working with Information Technology (IT) staff on technology-related projects across IT teams from Technical and Intelligence Services, Infrastructure, Office of the CIO (OCIO), and/or Epic Tapestry.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, strives for excellence, and seeks real-world experience. This position is approximately 30 hours per week, depending upon the selected candidate’s availability. The intern will work with confidential and proprietary information and will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Learn and follow applicable organizational policies, procedures, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards related to Information Technology and healthcare operations.
- Assist IT leaders and team members with projects, operational activities, documentation, reporting, and special assignments as needed.
- Support cross-functional IT initiatives by collaborating with areas such as Project Management, Business Analysis, Application Development, Infrastructure, IT Security, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Help gather, organize, update, and maintain information in IT systems, project repositories, documentation libraries, reports, dashboards, and other tracking tools.
- Assist with the preparation, review, editing, and maintenance of IT documentation, including procedures, project materials, process flows, meeting notes, status updates, policies, and reference materials.
- Support IT projects, operational activities, reporting, data collection, analysis, basic troubleshooting, and process improvement efforts based on the needs of the assigned IT team.
- Assist with basic technical tasks as assigned, which may include data analysis, system configuration, application testing, report creation, scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, or other technology-related support.
- For internship assignments requiring technical or development support, assist with entry-level programming, database queries, automation, application support, interface support, testing, or data integration activities using tools, platforms, or programming languages relevant to the assigned department.
- Assist with research related to technology trends, process improvement, governance, compliance, cybersecurity, healthcare technology, and industry best practices.
- Develop professional working relationships with IT staff, business partners, and other internal teams while learning the skills, behaviors, and expectations of a high-performing corporate IT environment.
- Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and working sessions; document key takeaways, action items, risks, issues, decisions, and follow-up items as appropriate.
- Maintain organized records and support version control, documentation standards, and timely communication of updates.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Information Technology, Information Systems, Health Informatics, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Public Policy, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Interest in working in an Information Technology, Information Systems, healthcare technology, project management, business analysis, application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or IT operations environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general internet-based tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, follow instructions, and meet deadlines.
- For technical internship assignments, coursework or basic experience with programming, scripting, databases, data analysis, application development, system support, or related technical tools is preferred.

Work Schedule:
Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs. The internship program is authorized to work a maximum of 29 hours per week, as needed per the need of the program.
