Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree in content area preferred
  • NYS Teaching Certification preferred
  • Experience in classroom teaching preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and human relations skills
  • Ability to work with a diverse community

Terms of Employment:

  • Starting Salary: $48,000 (Master’s Degree & Certified)
  • Annual Raise: $1,500

Position Description:The Teacher plans, organizes, and implements instructional programs in a learning environment that guides, inspires, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

Primary Functions:
