Your Key Responsibilities
The Accelerated Leadership Program is comprised of four six-month rotations that provide cross-departmental exposure. Each rotation can be located at any of our facilities throughout the North American Region (USA, Mexico and Canada), including the possibility for other international rotations. The first rotation will start in Wooster, Ohio. Upon graduation of the program, a permanent position in Wooster, Ohio is guaranteed.
Research & Development Career Path Responsibilities
  • Partner with a mentor who is an experienced professional leader to develop best practices and evolve into a leader at Schaeffler
  • Gain knowledge alongside experts in relevant and cross-functional departments
  • Trained based on the 70:20:10 model which emphasizes a mixture of hands-on experience, mentoring, and formal training
  • Leadership training and tools to develop leadership skills
  • Complete rotation development milestones
  • Become equipped for your guaranteed position upon graduation

Your Qualifications
For this high-potential development program, we are looking for candidates who are ambitious, creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about leadership and their professional growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering discipline or Engineering Technology
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • At least two relevant co-op or internship rotations
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Leadership experience or exposure preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Willingness to relocate every six months
  • Leadership experience gained through ROTC, military service, student organizations, athletics, or similar structured environments
  • Exposure to aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or other complex engineering environments
  • Experience contributing in settings that require adaptability, initiative, and strong teamwork
