Key Accountabilitiesย 

  • Own Flight Control Laws development activities from requirements flown down, implementation up to integration and testingย 
  • Contribute to controlย architecturesย from high level needs and characteristicsย 
  • Contribute toย linear design - trimming andย linearizingย flight dynamics models,ย control laws synthesisย and linear analysesย 
  • Contribute toย nonlinear design and verification, and clearance testingย 
  • Actively work on improving processes, methods, and tools for flight controlย 

Requirements

  • BS / MS in Aeronautical Engineering or related fieldsย 
  • 10+ years of professional experience inย Flightย Controlย Law development in fly-by-wire programsย 
  • Expert-level knowledge of fixed-wing handling qualities.ย ย 
  • Industry experience with and understanding of aircraft electronicย flightย controlย systems.ย 
  • Background in aerodynamics andย flightย dynamics (understand the physics you want toย control).ย 
  • Versionย Controlย and Requirements Management: experience with versionย controlย systems like Git and requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama. Ability to maintain traceability and manage complex datasets is crucial.ย
