Job description

Are you interested in working in a growing industry? Increased demand for smart security has opened a brand new opportunity at Guardian for a high-energy Financial Analyst like you.

We provide smart technology, 24/7 professional monitoring, and peace of mind to hundreds of thousands of customers. Our products are installed by experts, monitored by real people, and truly make a difference. We do what we do because of one simple truth: life is better when it's safe.

What's In It For You:

  • Attractive compensation package
  • Comprehensive benefit package starting day 1
  • Opportunity to learn the business and industry leading to growth within the company
  • Direct, regular exposure to senior leadership - your analysis goes to the people making the decisions
  • The chance to be part of a Top 10 security company and high-energy employee culture

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work with various business leaders on development of standardized financial analysis and reporting, with focus in Marketing & Sales functions
  • Pull and shape data yourself using SQL and Power BI / Fabric semantic models, and use AI tools to accelerate analysis
  • Own pieces of the monthly close and reporting process for your business areas, explaining variances and trends - not just producing the numbers
  • Perform financial analysis of new projects and growth opportunities.
  • Assistance with the completion of annual budget
  • Identify and lead process improvements that make reporting faster and more reliable

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of financial analysis experience (internships count)
  • Advanced Excel skills - you're comfortable with lookups, pivot tables, and building a model from scratch
  • Strong communication skills - you can explain what the numbers mean to someone who doesn't live in a spreadsheet
  • Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward improving how things get done
  • Working knowledge of SQL, or a demonstrated ability to learn it quickly
