Intern (Event Focus) – Bob Ward State Farm

Location: Scott County and surrounding areas
Pay: $10/hour
Hours: Approximately 40-60 hours per year, primarily weekends
Bob Ward State Farm is looking for enthusiastic and professional individuals to join our Bob Squad as Event Interns! This is a great opportunity for students or anyone looking for flexible, part-time hours while gaining experience in event coordination and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend events in Scott County and surrounding areas
  • Engage with the public in a friendly and professional manner
  • Set up and tear down the Bob Ward State Farm event booth
  • Take and distribute photos at events
  • Handle and maintain event equipment
  • Represent Bob Ward State Farm in a positive manner
What to Expect:

  • The event team offers free themed-backdrop photos to event attendees, printing them on-site in just minutes
  • Work is based on event schedules, with at least one event per month (more in summer and fall)
  • Almost all events occur on weekends
  • No office work required—only equipment pick-up and return
Ideal Candidates:

  • Outgoing, reliable, and able to interact with the public
  • Comfortable working a flexible, event-based schedule
