Job description

Job Summary:
As an Environmental Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, and regulatory programs within a manufacturing environment. Working alongside experienced environmental professionals, you'll contribute to meaningful projects while building knowledge of environmental regulations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you will be doing:
  • Support environmental projects by reviewing procedures, training materials, and compliance documentation.

  • Assist with environmental assessments and help identify opportunities for improvement at plant locations.

  • Participate in incident investigations and support corrective action efforts.

  • Gain hands-on exposure to environmental regulations, including wastewater, air, and stormwater compliance requirements.

  • Attend meetings with engineering and environmental teams to learn how environmental standards are applied across operations.

  • Help collect, analyze, and report environmental performance data and monthly metrics.

  • Maintain environmental records and support compliance through accurate documentation and recordkeeping.

  • Participate in safety, environmental, and committee meetings to support departmental goals and initiatives.

  • Assist with developing environmental SOP's and training materials.
