Job description

We are looking for a proactive, detail-driven, and collaborative Staff Accountant II to join our finance team. If you’re ready to make an impact and grow your career in a dynamic, supportive environment, we’d love to meet you!

This role will split their time between our Rutherford, New Jersey office (2 days) and working remote (3 days). Flexibility is provided.

What You’ll Do:

  • Participate in the monthly closing and reconciliation process along other members of our finance team
  • Preparation of daily cash reports
  • Handle chargeback cases through thorough research, timely responses, and accurate system updates
  • Liaise with our general accounting, order management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Prepare analysis for print production and events expense to determine proper month end accruals
  • Analysis of revenue and expense accounts
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Management of full account analysis files for manager review
  • Assist with the yearly financial statement audit by preparing audit schedules and providing requested supporting documentation
  • Assist accounts payable and receivable when necessary

What You Have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or another related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a series of internships
  • Solid experience with the NetSuite ERP system and Ramp for T&E
  • Excellent Excel knowledge, specifically with pivot tables and V Lookups
  • Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving through research and solution development
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities for professional growth
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail with a proactive approach
  • Strong ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Willingness to contribute to day-to-day administrative tasks that support team efficiency and success
