As an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Create and revise engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Develop bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing drawings, engineering documentation, and support customer proposal development.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and assist in resolving production challenges.
- Participate in product improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Assist with prototype development, testing, and product validation.
- Perform engineering calculations, including stress analysis, load calculations, and material selection.
- Review customer specifications and help develop customized engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with purchasing regarding material specifications and vendor technical inquiries.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
- Maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and revision control.
- Follow all company safety policies, engineering standards, and best practices.
