Captain Andy's Sailing Adventures is excited to announce our 2026 Internship Program.
This structured internship program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development opportunities within Hawai?i's hospitality and maritime industry. Interns will gain real-world exposure while working alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment on Kaua?i's beautiful South Shore.
We are currently accepting applications for the following internship opportunities:

Program Overview
Our internship program is designed to provide meaningful, real-world experience while supporting departmental operations during our busy season. Interns will work directly alongside experienced professionals and leadership teams while gaining exposure to hospitality, tourism, maritime operations, and business management.
Program Details
  • Duration: 10-12 weeks
  • Schedule: Part-time or full-time opportunities available (15-40 hours/week)
  • Compensation: Academic credit or $17.00/hour
  • Eligibility: High school seniors, college students, and recent graduates

Culinary Intern
Support kitchen operations while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with food preparation and plating
  • Supporting kitchen organization and inventory
  • Learning food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assisting with charter and event meal preparation

Ideal candidates:
  • Have an interest in culinary arts or hospitality

Engineering Intern
Gain exposure to vessel and facility maintenance operations while learning preventative maintenance and safety compliance practices.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with vessel maintenance and inspections

  • Assisting with basic mechanical and electrical tasks under supervision
  • Supporting facility maintenance projects

Ideal candidates:

Marketing Intern
Support the Sales & Marketing team through content creation, digital marketing, and community engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities may include:
  • Assisting with social media content planning and scheduling
  • Supporting photo and video content creation
  • Drafting captions and marketing copy
  • Assisting with campaigns, promotions, and community events

Ideal candidates:
  • Are pursuing studies in marketing, communications, hospitality, or business
