The Keg Dunnage Handler is responsible for organizing and palletizing kegs, inventory dunnage, picking and loading keg trucks, floor loads, transfers, facility, parking lot, and dock maintenance. The Keg Dunnage Handler should be flexible to perform other functions such as inventory control, sales pick up, shipping and receiving, replenishment, and returns.
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred
  • Experience in operating an electric pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred

Responsibilities
  • Maintain hourly performance goals
  • Pick and load keg trucks as needed
  • Pick and load floor loads/transfers to other distributors and branches/special events/sales pickup
  • Organize/palletize and shrink-wrap empties/partial kegs
  • Load dunnage back onto trucks and keep accurate count (Bill of Lading)
  • Organize/palletize unsaleable bad kegs
  • Empty trash bins
  • Take shrink wrap bin to 5500 and get an empty when it is full
  • Keep dunnage/parking lot/docks clean using a blower
  • Inventory dunnage
  • Perform and submit a daily power equipment checklist to the appropriate manager
  • Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment
  • Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
  • Perform other duties as assigned
