Job description

Join our team as a Yard Truck Operator for a full-time position. Your responsibilities will involve operating an Ottawa Yard Truck safely during numerous roll-on/roll-off procedures daily, handling loading and unloading operations in the warehouse, and completing proper paperwork for trailer numbers, weights, and material types. If you are experienced in forklift operation, detail-oriented, and committed to safety, apply now and become a valuable member of our team.

  • Safely operate the Yard Truck during daily roll-on/roll-off procedures with loaded and empty containers
  • Complete accurate paperwork, including trailer numbers, gross weights, tare weights, and net weights, on the daily log sheet, specifying the type of material
  • Handle forklift and other equipment and tools safely and efficiently
  • Perform loading and unloading operations within the warehouse
  • Inspect and check the conditions of items and materials during the loading and unloading process
  • Fulfill any other warehouse duties as assigned by Management
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety procedures and practices
  • Valid driver's license and certification to operate Yard Truck
